The Trailhead

Every trail starts somewhere. This one starts here.

I’m Bobby. I hike Missouri — the Ozarks, Mark Twain National Forest, and every root-riddled, tick-infested, absolutely gorgeous trail in between. Some of these hikes end up on my YouTube channel. This site is where they go to get the full story: the details that didn’t make the cut, the elevation profiles nobody asked for, the gear that worked, the gear that betrayed me, and the occasional hard-won lesson about reading a map before the sun goes down.

A few years back, hiking quietly saved my life — got me off the couch, dropped a bunch of weight, and gave my heart something better to do than worry me. So while there’s plenty of trail data here, there’s also this: if I can do it, you can do it. Pick a trail. Start walking.

Poke around by trail or by topic below — backpacking trips, day hikes, the Lewis & Clark Trail, and whatever else I’ve dragged a camera through lately. Boots optional. Curiosity required.

Hike. Hang. Get High.
